Junior's breakdown saw the first success for Liquid Caalm

Instant Liquid Caalm is now proven and authorised by all authorities for release and launch. Just the biodegradable packaging to complete next month.

There is nothing more important when leading the way than 'putting your money where your mouth is'.  Although in this instance it was putting our safety on trial, which was far from what Jayne Gingell thought she signed up for when she and Alex decided that Stepfree, with its 1 restricted ingredient, needed to be replaced in 2016. 

We never launch products without legislative approval.  Understanding the product first hand is always something that authorities appreciate. Junior was in week 10 of walk rehab, which for anyone who has done this knows is a tough time. It is when recovery is happening that control is paramount to progress forwards without re-injury and your horse's flight instincts are running high - a frightening combination.  Liquid Caalm was used to replace the vets' clinical prescription as that was making him angry as he just did not want to walk at all. 

The trails and research have shown that European science coupled with UK riders' responses have given us a product that takes the edge off, especially when fed as an INSTANT calming release on top of a daily digestive and calming type of bespoke formulation. 

Bespoke formulas often comprise of many of the ingredients in the Liquid Caalm so a powerful combination can build up and be even more effective.

Of the test riders, 2% saw no significant effect, but they were also not on a daily fed calming bespoke formulation. Those feeding what we are now terming as the 'Calming Combo' 98% saw a positive if not an extremely positive effect on their horse's temperament. It was a clear message of increased focus and concentration as opposed to dampened behaviour, which supported the very first trial with our own advanced horse.

The formulation is using 'flower power' in Chamomile, Marshmallow and Hawthorn and other raw ingredients such as Ginger and Liquorice. Combined, they settle digestion and create a more rideable horse.  The product is free from sugar, magnesium and tryptophan. We suspect this is driving the amazing statistics as it works for a wider range of horses and of course by using the bespoke concept, it means that we can avoid any 'triggering' ingredients in their daily fed supplements as we decide what goes into bespoke formulation each time.

The journey to non-plastic packaging is going to be in production in May 2019. Our research with our existing customers is that losing the plastic measure is not a hardship when we see massive gains for the environment. Therefore the recommended shot sizes will be described as tablespoons more like when we bake.  A tablespoon is 15mls, there is nothing to worry about when feeding more as there are no prohibited or restrictive substances so feeding more is never a worry.  We look forward to celebrating this next success for our horses, dogs AND our planet too.
