5 years ago Alex took the plunge to try put his idea into practice by visiting local shows and speaking with fellow competitors. It began totally manually and Alex did everything himself from gathering information about the horse, then formulating on the spot, creating the bespoke product with kitchen scales in a suitable sized tub, then hand writing a label and recording the percentages on a spread sheet. He’d package the bespoke in a box and drive it down the post office himself if it needed to be sent anywhere.
Nowadays, approximately 100 parcels are collected by Parcelforce with an average of 2 products in each parcel. They go out to 20,000 customers in 20 different countries and although the bespoke product labels are printed automatically with the correct / current batch numbers, Ingredient details and %s, horse name etc.. every single one is hand made using fresh / powerful ingredients on the same one set of digital scales.
More than 10 enquiries per day have rolled into the site over 5 years and each and every one of them has had the undivided attention of a highly experienced formulator, trained by Alex over years and the rate is increasing all the time. The website is 100% PCI compliant enabling split payments, a livechat facility, split deliveries, a training forum and hundreds of testimonials.
