MY DREAM - When I first started Hack Up Bespoke 5 ½ years ago I dreamt that the concept would take off and potentially change the supplement industry forever. Well it seems that finally, the ‘old school’ supplement companies are beginning to realize that Bespoke actually IS BEST and they’re starting to copy. This is such good news for everyone!!
Following my degree in Equine Studies in 1990s, I’ve spent more than 2 decades in the supplement industry. During that time I came to realize that the traditional route to market (wholesaler then retailer) delivered such poor value to customers. Often, these weren’t just customers but often life-long friends who I felt were getting a bad deal.
It seems that I wasn’t the only person to feel this way and I was excited to see the Newmarket Joint Formula (pure GLHCL) as it offered opportunities for customers to get a better deal.
I soon ‘jumped ship’ and started up my own company that supplied trainers, studs and vets with pure ingredients and advised them on how much of each to feed in different situations.
EUREKA MOMENT - Well, this evolved until one day I had a “Eureka moment’ and realized that I could mix the pure and fresh ingredients I had in suitable proportions for the individual horse’s situation AND by sending it out directly to the customer would cut out all the unnecessary costs of wholesaler and retailer margins. We then pass these savings on to you!!!
Trading Standards were invited over and issued us with a Manufacturers license.
The rest is history!!!
With my fabulous (and very capable) wife Jayne working with me, through thick and thin we now stand alone as Market Leaders in this growing COMMOM SENSE area of supplementation.
