Alex Gingell began bespoke supplementation in the 90’s, working directly with trainers in Newmarket and professional event riders. He personally would supply the raw ingredients and tell them how to make each product for their horses depending on their needs. This included some of the finest yard names in the industry but supplying the nation was his dream, but still today trainer Stuart Williams is a bespoke customer.  Alex’s horsemanship skills and knowledge, experience of the effects of natural ingredients on 1,000’s of horses over many years has been the corner stone of Hack Up Bespoke.  When the digital age dawned with the complexity of doing what he did face to face being able to be accommodated on line meant we could reach as many horses as possible in the UK, this became the aim. To support the desire to deliver to customers with the level of service that he has offered in the East of England, logistics and manufacturing systems of the highest level were required. Today 1,000s of products are handmade to bespoke formulations by hand in approximately 3 minutes per product – they are delivered the next day, split payments are automated to spread the cost and new for 2018 is the automatic delivery, annual volume price with refining as an option as each fresh delivery, free from preservatives and sugars are delivered every 16 weeks, keeping the ingredients fresh and powerful, whatever the weather.

Harnessing the power of tech has taken Hack Up Bespoke to a whole new level. This has been driven by Jayne Gingell who has coupled her £multi million international career with Cotes Viyella and her marketing and Tech company Fizz Equine Marketing Ltd experience to move Hack Up into the digital business it is today.  Jayne’s experience and entrepreneurial ways within big business were honed from a young age, At just a 24 year old she became the first and youngest female director in the heavy male orientated manufacturing industry creating new innovations for the  fashion industry.   Mentored brilliantly by the 90’s ‘The Fashion Show’ presenter Jeff Banks, and working with high street brands M&S, Next Debenhams, her foresight has brought  to Hack Up Bespoke the digital, dynamic automated coding  that enables Alex’s horsemanship to an International market via google. Horse and Hound were integral in the strategy for the marketing of the company and the results speak for themselves. Key authorities were part of the focus group that created an International business management manufacturing system to support the growth development strategy. Now with 1000’s of handmade productions being created each month we can average 3 mins per product with a team of 3 people. The right first time is over 95% and the traceability even goes back to who created the products with modern styled avatars of each of the key team members. A keen BD competitor with results up to Ad Med makes Jayne a credible horsewoman in her own right too, however business always comes first. “My horse approach is much more the ‘feeling way’ than competition driven.  My horses are my love and passion – being tested by competition is something that feeds my competitive nature, but my horses well being and happiness will always take priority.”
