Equine TEAMGB making us proud to be British!!
Celebrate with us all these Magical Medals that our incredible Equine athletes are bringing home.
Hack Up Bespoke would like to give a "MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS!!" to all those equine heroes and heroines representing GB in Tokyo.
Understandably, everyone's preparations for the games has been massively different. The stress and pressure to deliver on the day, without the physical support of families and supporters, gave the chance for ultimate superstars to shine.
Particular congrats to the GOLD Medal winners as you are the BEST in the world RIGHT NOW!!

After Dressage: Brilliant start with Oliver in 2nd place and the Team currently in 1st place going into the cross-country phase tomorrow. Kick on TEAMGB. Need our pathfinder to nail a clear inside the time, and you know ... I think he might just deliver!!
After Cross Country: All 3 GB team members clear AND inside the time. Oliver in Invividual GOLD positition a Michael Jung broke a frangible fence and obtained 11 penalty points. Laure Collett moved up to BRONZE position and Tom McEwan moved well up the order to to keep the team WELL IN FRONT.
After Team Show Jumping: TEAM GOLD FOR BRITISH EVENTERS!! Tom McEwan was first to go for TEAMGB in the show jumping phase of eventing in Tokyo this am. He looked as cool as a cucumber as he got to every jump perfectly. He was the first not to touch a single pole and was 4 seconds inside the time. A PHENOMENAL start to the unthinkable, ending up on his dressage score, 28.9
Laura Collett then stepped up and did a fantastic round. She ploughed through the parralel with the water tray under it to get the first jumping fault for the team. London 52 picked his feet up after that and got round within the time!
Oliver Townend was the last in the arena and he all but NAILED it to bring home the TEAM GOLD!!! One down pushes Oliver into individual SILVER, but that's not over yet!
Scott Brash with Hello Jefferson, owned by Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham (groom: David Honnet)
Ben Maher with Explosion W, owned by Ben, Charlotte Rossetter and Pamela Wright (groom: Cormac Kenny)
Holly Smith with Denver, owned by Ian Dowie (groom: Kate Dodd)
3rd August - Day 1
A brilliant day where all 3 of our TEAMGB showjumpers go clear and within the time allowed. Virtually immaculate riding and clearly 3 powerful scopey horses that give us a great chance of more medals. So much to look forward to over the next 4 days.
4th August - Day 2
Ben Maher wins Individual GOLD!! 2 x phenomenal rounds that rendered him untouchable on the quite incredible Explosion! BRILLIANT!!!
Harry Charles had 'combination confusion' and Scott Brash missed the Jump Off opportunity by having just ONE time fault.
