RingCraft Clinic number 3 well attended and returning.

At a comfortable 19c, the day was filled with improving performances through helpful learns.

This unique format, with an eir piece on each rider listening to me judging and commenting from C gave a new insight to test riding. Before we began test riding, we established the best quality from the horse / pony that was available to the rider on the day. Some were a little tight, some sense, some a little off the aids, so we adapted what we had to max out on quality of the 3 paces, then the feel was identified an targetted for the test ride.

Then the bell rang.  Quite often we'd stop the test to re-ride a certain movement with pointers on how to improve the performance. So sometimes the test might take 15 mins to complete, other times just 6 mins

We ran through certain movements afterwards and where we could, we did exercises to hep with self carraige and clarity / accuracy of transitions. Almost all came into (or beside) the car at C to either write or sit in on the other lessons. Folk enjoyed what we did so much that another clinic at Hirst Farm has been arranged for 5th Sept, and it's nearly Full.
