What an amazing difference hack up has made to my boy Oz; Oz is a 16.1hh, 13 year old eventing thoroughbred who competes up to novice level eventing very frequently, so he is a high mileage boy. When he came to us in March 2015 he was rather stiff behind and we struggled to get him to soften and go rounder in the school when doing flatwork. Knowing that eventually my daughter wanted to do some BE on him I wanted to put him on a supplement that would make him more comfortable to move. After having a night in the stable he would come out very stiff and needed a lot of warming up, even on hacks, I knew he needed something that would help him. After contacting Alex at Hack up in November, I started Oz on his bespoke joint/ hoof supplement. My daughter and I noticed an almost instant difference not only in the school but also on hacks. He feels a lot looser and free to move from behind. He now strides out on hacks, and in the school when doing flatwork/jumping and on the cross country course my daughter says he feels outstanding, he springs and really comes through from behind, therefore being a lot softer and rounder. Instead of having typical flat thoroughbred feet they are lot rounder and they are not crumbling as much, due to him being a lot less flat footed. Now its winter he is in every night and we noticed that his hind legs were filling quite a bit, which was making him uncomfortable, so we contacted Alex and our Refined bespoke supplement arrived and after just 4 days we have noticed a massive difference, his legs are no longer filling and he is a lot more comfortable in the stable and being ridden after he has been in.
