"This is Sir Percy Blakeney, ex flat racer with typical TB feet. It got to the point where the farrier may as well have moved in as would lose shoes all the time. Then he pulled a new shoe off so badly he took most of his foot with it and the farrier couldn’t put a shoe on.
I took the opportunity to change him to barefoot. Well, with boots for hacking. I also added the foot supplement to his existing Hack Up recipe.
Nearly a year in and I can’t believe how strong his feet are. They’re better than my large cobs! So much so he’s now on it too. Very pleased!"
